A 30 year veteran of the mortgage industry and a graduate of the University of Memphis, West has served in a variety of capacities including production, underwriting, quality control, internal audit, compliance, servicing, and portfolio analysis. West is an FHA Direct Endorsement Underwriter and VA SAR – Automatic Underwriter. He is also an expert in FNMA/FHLMC underwriting and lender requirements. West consults regularly on both legislative and regulatory issues at the national level. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and has served on a number of committees. He holds the Certified Mortgage Banker designation (CMB) from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.
Matthew Murphy, AMP, CRU | Chief Operating Officer
A recognized leader in mortgage banking, specializes in Compliance, Quality Control, Internal Audit, and Production Analytics. He also provides solutions-based consulting for origination technology systems, both in their deployment and use. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and holds B.B.A. degrees in both Banking and Managerial Finance with a concentration in Real Estate. Because of his background, Matthew is a regular contributor to both mortgage blogs and various social media sites associated with the housing industry. In addition, Matthew also hold the Accredited Mortgage Professional designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association.
